General Responsibilities Often Include:
- Assisting in the month end closing and financial reporting process including account analysis and reconciliation
- Reviewing and preparing financial statements and reports, posting journal entries, and ensuring timely and accurate reporting
- Reviewing accounting processes and recommending changes or improvements to increase efficiency as needed
- Preparing monthly balance sheet/cash flow analysis
- Assisting with annual budget process and participating in the annual audit process
- Working closely with all members of senior management, operations, and external auditors
- Managing/motivating staff members
Experience & Qualifications:
- Big 4 experience preferred
- 5-8 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
- CPA preferred
Skills & Knowledge:
- Proficiency with Excel
- Proficiency with SAP
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and constraints
