JAVA Developer
We regularly seek highly skilled candidates who have been working with JAVA/J2EE applications and feel confident in the development of new applications for real-time applications. The candidates would be working as part of a team assigned to code and implement new functionality and enhancements to existing applications.
Role of a JAVA Developer
- Provide technical input for architectural direction.
- Provide decisive methods and options for solutions to problems.
- Develop product strategies and roadmaps.
- Provide technical support to existing developers.
- Maintain new product and methods awareness.
TYPICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Skills the applicant is currently using or has used within the past year and feels very confident with:
- Java/J2EE
- JMS
- hibernate
- jboss/tomcat
- Real Time performance
- SQL (we use Postgres)
- HTML,CSS,XML
Demonstrated expertise in any of the following skills is highly advantageous:
- AJAX /Comet
- Dojo
- CouchDB, Hypersonic, Cassandra
- C, C++
- Online security
- PHP
