QA Analyst

This individual will be primarily responsible for manual testing of a proprietary web-based software program.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Helping with state reporting and working closely with the State EDI Reporting team including Project Managers, Application Development Managers, Software Developers (Java), Business Analysts, and Compliance team to ensure state requirement changes were tested before ticket changes go live
  • Helping with Crystal Reports to help test generated reports for both their internal and external clients
  • Verifying backend data results found in proprietary application using MS SQL Serve Management Studio 2008 (SSMS)
  • Helping write Reports Best Practices documents to add to QA Repository to keep current as changes occur
  • Write test cases for tickets in HP Quality Center Suite 10 (QC) and test each scenario as needed in Test Lab
  • Write up defects in QC and link to appropriate test lab findings
  • Work through the SDLC with review and research of BRD’s for each ticket worked and work closely with the teams to ensure a deep understanding of each requirement stated in the BRD
